63% of People in Rural Tanzania Believe that People with Epilepsy Can't Work

Latest project
We are working to fund Winfrida's first year of nursing school. Winfrida was kicked out of elementary school because she had epilepsy. Winfrida got a second chance with a scholarship to attend secondary school and writes that she wants to take care of other people and that she wants to support her family by becoming a nurse. Funding Winfrida's education not only helps a bright student achieve her dreams, it starts to prove that people with epilepsy can live fulfilling lives and be leaders in their communities.
We Give People with Epilepsy a Second Chance
Central Tanzania has a high rate of epilepsy and people with the disease are often expelled from school and discriminated against when applying for jobs. A part of Provision Charitable Group, our scholarship program gives students a second chance to go to school and our vocational programs over-qualify people with epilepsy for jobs so that they may be employed in their communities.
How to Help
Choose a student with epilepsy to support. Our programs give students with epilepsy a second chance at an education or vocation.
